Virus Size
Viruses are on the order of $10^{-8}m$ (small, like polio) and $10^{-7}m$ (large, like HIV).
In this small region, viruses pack a genome inside a protein shell called a capsid. Typically, the genomes of viruses are quite small (order of $10^3 .. 10^6 bp$). The smallest viruses tend to have simple, symmetric structure to their capsids, while the larger, more complex viruses have asymmetric structure.
SARS-CoV-2 is sized somewhere between $10^{-8}m$ and $10^{-7}m$, with a genome size of about 30k bp.
